“Reading Each Other Day #8”: A Space for Literary Sharing and Peer-Review with O Thuoc

At 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Day Library (No. 2, Alley 87 Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi), the O Thuoc Author group will host the event “Reading Each Other Day #8 | Literary Peer-Review.” This is a recurring activity for literature enthusiasts who wish to read, share, and provide constructive feedback on each other’s works in an intimate and open environment.

O Thuoc Author is an independent collective of young writing enthusiasts, established with the vision of creating a space for exchange and creative practice. Through reading sessions, discussions, and creative projects, the group encourages each member to discover their personal writing voice while fostering a sense of community within contemporary literature.

“Reading Each Other Day” is considered the core activity of O Thuoc Author – aimed at building a young creative community where writers and readers meet, exchange ideas, and develop their skills through mutual feedback. Participants will share their reflections on the works and explore new writing directions while maintaining utmost respect for each individual’s creative orientation.

To participate, writers are invited to submit poetry, essays, or short stories in Vietnamese to othuoc.authors@gmail.com by September 30, 2025. Subsequently, the organizing committee will compile and share the works with members by October 1 to facilitate pre-meeting reading and feedback. Literature lovers who do not have a submission but wish to join the discussion can still register via the online form.

With a spirit of openness and sharing, “Reading Each Other Day #8” promises to remain a meaningful rendezvous for young writers in Hanoi, where every story and every line of poetry serves as a bridge connecting soul-searching wordsmiths.
